In this workshop you will create a ring or pendant using the lost-wax technique, which will then be cast into a 935 silver piece.

The workshop begins by explaining the possibilities that wax offers which will guide you in your wax design. After this you will sculpt the wax, implementing your ideas of form and texture to create the desired piece.
You will be working exclusively with wax.

What’s included:
•All materials needed: Wax, tools
•Up to 8gr of Silver.

What’s not included:
•If your piece is heavier than 8gr, you can purchase extra sterling silver for 2,8€/gram.

After the workshop, your wax model will be cast in 935 silver, polished and finished by us. Your piece will be ready to pick up at the studio in approximately 2-3 weeks. If you prefer it to be sent, there is a shipping cost of €6 for Berlin or €10 for the rest of Germany, to be paid on the day of the workshop.

The workshop is limited to a maximum of 5 participants to ensure a personalized experience. It will be held in English, with the option for Spanish translation ( we can also do a bit of German)
No experience needed, this workshop is designed for beginners.

CAN I CANCEL?

Of course, just keep in mind that I do need to stick to the cancellation policy. If you end up canceling, the refund will depend on how far in advance you let me know:
7 days or more before the event: full refund
3–6 days before the event: 50% refund
2 days or less before the event: no refund

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

All materials will be provided. You’re welcome to come with one or two ideas—whether in a sketchbook, on your phone, or just in your head—but it’s not necessary. Just stay open to shaping things along the way to fit the material.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothes, ideally not too loose, and definitely not your favorite outfit, as it may get dirty.

FOOD & DRINKS?

We will have water, tea and a few snacks at all our workshops.
For workshops longer than three hours, we’ll take a 30-minute break so you can have lunch.
